About the data & sources
Geoscience Australia’s Radiometric Grid of Australia, v4 (2019), combines over 600 airborne surveys. Grid spacing is approximately 100 m (0.001°); actual survey resolution and quality vary. Gaps are not filled with predictions.
Uranium and thorium are equivalent concentrations inferred from decay products. Values describe near-surface material, not a radiation safety assessment. Filtered grids are used here.
